Scholarships

Knights and Dames of The Religious Academy believes that financial limitations should not prevent students from developing their artistic talents. Scholarships are available for youth and adults as funds are raised, helping make our art classes accessible to those who might otherwise be unable to afford them.

We proudly offer two scholarship opportunities: the John Paul Fugal Scholarship and the Nan Osmond Grass Scholarship. Both scholarships provide financial assistance to students who may need additional support in pursuing their artistic education.

Students receiving scholarships are encouraged to make their experience meaningful beyond the classroom. During the quarter in which they receive their scholarship, students are invited to create an image of Jesus Christ that reflects their artistic abilities and personal expression. We also encourage students to participate in a meaningful act of service within their community.

Service expectations are mutually agreed upon by the school or mentor and the scholarship recipient, taking into consideration each student's individual abilities, circumstances, and opportunities. Our hope is to make these experiences positive, rewarding, and uplifting rather than burdensome.

Through these scholarships, we seek to inspire creativity, gratitude, faith, and a spirit of service while helping students develop their artistic talents.
